Viktor Frankl's book has opened up new ways to see my life from different angles through his book. The book has been able to drive one's thought of meaninglessness towards a meaningful path and thereby has been successful in extinguishing Nihilism. Logotherapy in a nutshell is in itself a capsule which contains essential doses for a person who has lost hope in his/her life. I am a person who always gets depressed with small failures, but this book has helped me a lot in exploring the reason for every failure. The author is a renowned scholar in the field of psychology and also a survivor of four concentration camps, including the Auschwitz. The first chapter explains the extent of sufferings through which a man goes through in a concentration camp. It clearly explains that how a prisoner shows his symptoms prior to his death and also helps in explaining that most of the deaths (except those suffocated to death inside the gas chambers) are due to lose of hope in one's life and thereby considering his life as meaningless. In due course of time this hopelessness creeps into their mind and body and thereby diminishing their resistance towards the camp's inhuman atmosphere.

Struggle for progressiveness
Right through the history, there has been a series of events of oppression of the ruling class over the section fighting for their basic rights. One category among the series of cases of oppression is student victimization. Universities and colleges have been breeding grounds for progressive thinkers and it is this group who are been constantly victimized by the goons of the Fascist forces. Progressive student fronts have always raised their voices against the wrongs and have never been afraid of these goons. College/University campuses have been able to eradicate the communal flavour added by some fringe organisations like ABVP and have always been successful in countering these impotents because of progressive thinkers inside the student fraternity. But, I am deeply saddened to say that authorities have most of the times bowed their heads in front of these impotents. They have always given breathing spaces for them and as a result progressives have been targeted continuously. It is us who have been on the receiving side. We have lost a lot of progressive blood and life but everytime it is made more clearer that progressive thinking will sustain inside campuses as long as there are progressive organisations.
THE INNOCENT HEART
If only people all over the world stopped thinking about religion, caste and creed the world would have been such a nice place...But can't say, if people do stop thinking about religion caste and creed they would find some other way to fight, as we all know that humans have a tendency to dominate over their fellow humans and in this race for dominance these fools forget that the colour of that liquid which is flowing inside all of us is the same.. The workaholic heart situated inside every human doesn't know that it is pumping for a hindu or muslim or sikh or jew or christian or parsi..It only knows how to pump that red liquid to all the corners of the body...If it would have known that it is working 24x7 for that human who is discriminating his fellow humans, who also have the same innocent non-religious heart, on the basis of religion caste and creed, it would have stopped pumping that red liquid the moment itself it came to know that a new born is tagged based on the above categories...It would have felt pity on its hard work if it was able to see the red liquid, for which it was working so hard to pump to every corner of the body, scattered all around on the gloomy streets after a massacre on the petty issues of religion caste and creed... When will the time come when humans start thinking like their non - religious hearts and consider every other person with the same non - religious heart as equal.. Let us save the red liquid from spilling or being spilled and use this liquid for somebody in need...After all, the person who is in need of that red liquid also has the same NON - RELIGIOUS heart!!!!

WHY SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION IS BETTER THAN GREEN MILE
Shawshank Redemption is a movie which has crept into my mind ever since I watched it. Some movies wither out of our memories days after we have watched it. But this movie has remained fresh in my mind and all the scenes pass through my mind very clearly. Based on a true story, a viewer can't predict the direction in which the movie goes. The small nuances that the movie contains is worthwhile as these nuances will later take the movie to a different level. A rhythmic movie right from the start changes its gears at the last one hour which provides an awesome experience for a movie lover. It has every element that a viewer expects in a movie.
Green Mile is a supernatural crime drama plot. Why I think that Shawshank Redemption is better than Green Mile is that the story of the latter movie is quite predictable. John Coffey is on a death row and has supernatural powers. He is tried for a crime that he hasn't committed. He finds that ''Wild Bill'' Wharton is responsible for the crime for which John is on a death row. He takes back the sickness in Hal's wife and passes intro Percy, who is then unable to talk and shoots down ''Wild Bill". Having seen all these I expected a bit of twist at the tail but the movie finishes in a haste at the end. Tom Hanks once again gave a splendid performance. The plot didn't had that suspense as the former movie had. Rising from the unexpected took the former to a higher state.

REVOLUTION FOR A BETTER TOMORROW
When I looked through the netted window, I saw the grim street light through it, flickering as if it was shivering due to fear. Dark hooded creatures hovered around it passing negative vibrations into me. Stuck with a frozen mind, I walked slowly towards the balcony more closer to the grim light, which was feeling helpless on how to fight against them. Night after night passed by, but the lamp kept on struggling against them. But that night, the monotony broke. Breaking apart into pieces, the light scattered around and pierced through their hoods, dislodging the dark and once again reinstating the light of hope inside me.
Lines about a True Friend
Like when the Sun rises, we welcome it with half closed eyes unclear of what all we are seeing
Like when the Sun gives all the light and we start enjoying our day with a joyful mood
Like when our energies start increasing so as the Sun, as the day progresses
Entering into the evening mode, where we all use our left over energy in a full-on mode, having a slight disappointment thinking about the time when the Sun is going to set
Thus comes the time, when we all have to face the sun set in front of our eyes, with all the memories which this wonderful Ball of Fire gave us
We cherish our memories at the night time, when that Crazy Ball is on the other side of the globe, but we strongly get the sensation that the ball is weeping inside thinking of all the memories spent with us during the day
Waiting for the next morning and so the Crazy Ball !!

Point Blank shot on the Indian farmer's head
Yes, indeed this is a point blank shot on the farmers of India, as the Government has made provisions to snatch away the farmer's land without their consent. Farmers of our country can now make in their mind that they are only temporary owners of their land, and at any point of time they will be robbed off.
The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Amendment) Bill, 2015, popularly known as Land bill, was adopted by the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. Once again the corporate world has proved that they have the upper hand in every matter in our country. Public consent in a developmental process plays a huge role in a democratic setup such as India, and this vital point has been excluded from this so called Land Bill. Present Land bill is the amended form of the LARR act, 2013, in which consent of 80% of land owners was required for Private companies and consent of 70% of land owners was required for PPP projects. Also the new bill has amended the sentence " land acquisition for Private companies" to "land acquisition for Private entities, which includes companies, corporations, non-profit organisations, thus making the farmer more susceptible of the danger of losing his land. Farmers have once again been sidelined by the Government and the Government-Corporate bond has tightened its grip.
Farmers have always been on the receiving end, be it a natural calamity or man made disasters. The issue was very strongly opposed in both the houses at the Parliament, but the passing of the bill in the lower house has sent messages, that India is not an agrarian friendly economy. A farmer who has, in his whole life, dedicated everything to make his land cultivable has been slapped tightly. Development is not limited to infrastructure, it should also develop the standard of living of the poor. What will a farmer do with the compensation given to him, if he does not know any other occupation? Will the Government buy him a new land, so that he can continue to cultivate. The meaning of development has taken a very wrong shape in the past three decades. It has restricted the development only to the infrastructure side. Will all these development reach the rural poor of our country, where majority of Indian population, or more precisely, the true India resides.
At the end of the day, every citizen needs food and for that there should be something left for cultivation. India is good market for most of the goods and indeed it will become a prime importer of agricultural goods. This present Land Bill, is no different, from the pre-independence British laws, in which the Indian poor was badly tortured. Where have we gained independence from the British? We are still following the almost same laws. If it was the East India Company before independence, now it is the combined corporate giants (or monsters) ruling the country. If it was the British Rule Part-I before independence, now it is the sequel of the Part-I.
Colonialists have gone, but they have passed on the colonialism to us, which has been practiced with our own people for the past 67 years. We can only overthrow this anarchic rule, if we understand the correct meaning of "Development".
