NEW BUDGET: AND WHERE ARE THE ACHHE DIN????

Right from campaigning mode, the BJP has been banking on the word "Achhe Din". Even after the Lok Sabha elections victory, these Achhe Din were the most used word to fool people, but nobody has seen those "Din". Now comes the present Government's first full year railway budget, which once again has very little to do for "The People". 

Present railway budget has proposed no new trains and despite the lowering of oil prices in the global market the fares have not been lowered. On the other hand installation of WiFi facility at 400 stations will not do any good to the poor. Once again the government has forgotten the poor. Even after these many years, the poor still travel in the same filthy unreserved compartments and that too in these compartments are overcrowded. The inhumane conditions of these compartments has gone unnoticed once again. Once again rhetoricism was the primary weapon used in the budget, and if we seriously look into it, it is hollow from inside.

Instead of proposing and making promises, the budget should have laid more stress on the planning of making such promises into reality. Years after Years, the plight of Indian Railways remains the same, with every people only see promises but no practical implementation.

SUPPRESSING THE VOICES

                             

After Dabholkar, now its Govind Pansare. Maharashtra has witnessed the killings of two progressive personalities in a short span of 18 months, yet the government has been unsuccessful to do anything. The increasing attacks on the rationalists has created a hostile atmosphere for those who think rationally and fearlessly raise voice against the wrongs in the society. Right wing extremism has been reaching heights ever since the present government has come to power. With the politics being decided by the media, the Left wing has been constantly victimized by the media for the past few years. Maharashtra, which had seen a trade union upsurge in the 1960s is now in the hands of the pro-corporates and has seen a complete shift from the Left to the Right. RSS has been marching through the whole of India in the past few years and it seems to be alarming that this cancer which is growing in India will make the upcoming youth more impotent towards rational thinking and will be injected with strong fundamentalism from their childhood itself. The Adanis and Ambanis will enjoy more power and constant suppressing of voices like Dabholkar and Pansare will make the common people more prone to the unending autocratic rule of the Right. Growing number of Shakhas is the evidence for that. An era will come when people will fear to even think (leave aside the guts to speak) in their own way unafraid. Fascicm is growing everywhere in India and who knows India might witness another Benito Mussolini or Adolf Hitler. 

Times are not far when the masses will come to streets to overthrow the fascists and India will come under the leadership of rational voices. 

COSMIC CALENDAR

The fact that Humans are presently at the helm of all the species in terms of its thinking capacity is true, but in terms of our experience with our universe it seems to be that we are all just new born babies who are born just a few seconds ago.  Yes, it is not surprising that, compared to the age of the origin of universe 13.8 billion years ago (bya), modern humans which have come to existence about 2 lakh years ago are just new born babies.

The concept of "Cosmic Calendar" was popularized by Carl Sagan in his book " The Dragons of Edens" in which he compressed the vast history of universe into one year. Starting with January 1 ,with the Big Bang, the calendar ends on December 31, the present era.

The whole concept of Cosmic Calendar also puts light on the fact that all the religion and concepts of Gods were formed at the last phase of the final 8 minutes of the calendar. This shows that, all these concepts are just minutes older and does not have any significance with the time before that.

Humans boast that they are superior, but truly speaking, they still do not have the slightest knowledge of the laws of the universe. The universe which was ever changing before us, the universe which paved way for our germination.

AAP SWEEPS DELHI!!! BROOM WORKS OUT!!!.......................

                              
It was a dramatic turnaround, as we all saw a flamboyant victory by the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi. One of the elections which could decide the fate of Indian politics is come to a dramatic climax, as the AAP was untouched by its opponents. feeling very relieved by the verdict as this time the people didn't choose a party which was riding on the success of some big names. 2014 Lok Sabha elections was the sort of election in which the people were driven by a wave which was only a gimmick. That election was only won because the people were fed up with the UPA-II regime. BJP got only 31% of the nation's vote share. But BJP took the 2014 Lok Sabha elections victory, as if they were liked by the people of India. But this was not the case. The dislike towards the Congress benefited the BJP. With not even half the voters voting for BJP, how can they say that they were the favourites.

The so-called Modi wave may have worked during the Lok Sabha elections, but it decreased from their onwards. Each state elections saw a decrease, as the people soon realized that the BJP has only been making promises and not fulfilling it. This became evident from the Delhi elections results as the Broom swept the Lotus away ( not mentioning the Hand as it was diminished from the scene one year ago itself).

Waiting for the AAP's policies and their decision making in the near future, as the whole nation looks on with some hopes........
